The CEO and Founder of the UK Cyber Security Association Lisa Ventura is currently compiling a book to be published on Amazon Createspace early next year, and is seeking submissions from women in the cyber security industry.
“The Rise of the Cyber Women” will be a collection of inspiring stories and interviews with women in the cyber security industry who are pioneers and leading the way in helping to protect the world from the growing cyber threat. It is hoped that this book will feature women in the cyber security industry from all over the world.
Those who are included and featured in the book will give their hints, tips and advice to women who are looking to pursue a career in cyber security or change their career path into cyber security.
Lisa Ventura is particularly looking for women to include in the book who haven’t had a linear path into the cyber security industry or who have overcome much adversity to get to where they are today.
All profits from this book once initial costs are covered will go towards providing support and events in 2020 for women in cyber which is one of the areas the UK Cyber Security Association works hard to raise awareness of. The UKCSA is a not for profit organisation/company limited by guarantee.
If you are a woman, or identify as one, and you are interested in being included in this book please download the chapter submission guidelines here.
The deadline for chapters to be submitted for inclusion is 31st January 2020.
